What this test is

This test is often sold under the brand name DUTCH. You collect small urine samples on paper over a day or more. It reports many results at once. This includes cortisol and its breakdown products, plus hormones like estrogen and testosterone. It is sold as a fuller version of a normal blood hormone test. So far, its patterns have not been shown to diagnose a recognized illness. More results can mean more follow-up tests, or worry over numbers that don't mean much. If you have tiredness or hormone symptoms, a doctor can order specific tests aimed at what you feel.
